On Monday 9th November, the Sustainable Leather Foundation held its first Advisory Board Meeting to discuss progress and the next steps in bringing the vision of the foundation to life.
The Advisory Board is made up of individuals who have been asked to represent different areas of the leather value chain based on their expertise and knowledge in their respective fields, in order to provide a valuable, fit-for-purpose foundation for the leather industry and the consumer.
The first topics on the agenda were agreeing Terms of Reference and Governance, agreeing Partnership routes and reviewing the overview skeleton of the SLF Standard.
