UzCharm Expo, 12th October - 14th October 2022
The Sustainable Leather Foundation is looking forward to attending the UzCharm Expo in Uzbekistan from the 12th to the 14th of October 2022.
In addition, there are plans for our Managing Director, Deborah Taylor, to hold a workshop and deliver a presentation on the necessary requirements for tanneries and product manufacturers in the region to work with brands in Europe and America.
Held twice a year – in spring and autumn – the specialized exhibition of the leather and footwear industry demonstrates the production capabilities across all regions of Uzbekistan and provides a platform for industry specialists from different countries to come together and share best practices.
With more than 1,000 Uzbek and foreign companies taking part in the exhibition every year, UzCharmExpo is considered one of the largest exhibitions in Central Asia in the field of leather and footwear. The extensive geography of visitors includes representation from countries including the Italy, Germany, India, Turkey, Spain, Poland, UK, Belarus, etc and over the course of the three days the exhibition is expected to welcome over 10,000 visitors.
