Compliance means following rules/regulations/orders in the workplace and they usually vary depending on the industry you work in.

For the leather industry (and related paper industry) compliance falls into different categories: Voluntary, Regulatory and Corporate.

Sustainability and the Leather Industry
Workshop

Leather comes from a naturally sustainable resource – the waste material of the meat and dairy industry.  It is important that how we convert that waste material into leather is done as sustainably as possible and respecting the principles of environmental, social and governance responsibility.  Smythson have contracted SLF to provide training to their employees, focussing on key areas including:
