On 27-28 September, SLF conducted it’s first audit of the facilities at Crest Leather Italia.  Crest already hold LWG Gold rated certification which meant that the company did not need to reaudit any of those elements already certified.  Instead, we were able to carry out an audit to complete missing areas of conformance around Environmental and Governance elements, and to conduct a full Social Responsibility Audit.  We are delighted to see proven efficacy of our A.I.M. approach to be Accessible, Inclusive and Modular through a system that recognises existing certification and best practice, with the ability to augment this with additional auditing and certification where needed.
