Our MD, Deborah Taylor, recently talked with the team at Oeko-Tex about the leather industry and whether leather is or can be sustainable.  During the interview she looked at the challenges that the involved companies along the value chain have to meet in order to bring about more sustainable production. Oeko-Tex were one of the first organisations to become a Contributing Partner of the Foundation in 2020, and we are currently finalising our equivalency mapping between the SLF Audit Standards and the Oeko-Tex STeP for Leather.
